Another break up letter

One of the best things I get to experience in my work in Freedom Coaching is when clients start experiencing a genuine taste of freedom. Porn and masturbation begins to lose it's hold, and it is replaced by a desire for MORE. 

The following brief letter is no exception, and it is an articulation of the desire of countless men & women who want to be free. 

Sit with the following, and let it stir your heart. 

Then...do it. Break up FOREVER with porn. Watch what happens in your life. You'll like who you become.

I’ve never had to write a breakup letter before. A text? More times than I can count but all my letters to things or people have come from a place of love and for seeking further connection. And in a way, this letter is that.

As I write this, my fingers hold the pen confidently and keep the paper in place. This is what I DO. You can’t mess with me here. If 100% of my day was spent writing you would have never gotten me or continued to be a presence in my life. This letter is a love letter to myself now, the child who was exposed to you, the teen and man who inflicted your pain and chaos on himself and others, and the man who I strive to be the most authentic version of every day.

You know what the best part is… I have had plenty of help from others and through God’s guidance in my heart, and I did it my way. Freedom Coaching gave me the tools and the words to be able to vocalize what you have done to me and my life. But I have chosen how to wield them without losing myself in the process. I’m still the same person that I was when I first started. God has been there for me every second and my union with him is stronger than however long or deep this affair was.
